Anchor Deployment

Carbotura as Anchor Tenant
in community industrial parks.

A Carbotura-anchored industrial campus is carbon-negative by design and achieves Total Material Conversion (TMC) — near-zero residual across the cluster. The anchor facility supplies neighbors with bulk materials, fuel-cell water, and industrial gases; co-location captures freshness, spec premiums, and utility-sharing economics no remote off-taker can match.

A Carbotura Advanced Circular Manufacturing (ACM) facility anchors an industrial campus through three exportable resources — materials, water, and industrial gases — and through the freshness and specification advantages of co-locating off-takers next to a continuous, traceable supply. It does not anchor the campus through energy.

Binding constraint — no energy export. The facility operates in full energy autonomy (Island Mode). The 8 MW PEM fuel-cell stack consumes ~3.8 TPD of internally produced H2 and delivers its entire electrical output to facility load — microwave generators, pyrolysis reactors, separation trains, graphitization, and balance-of-plant. There is no surplus power, no behind-the-meter offering, and no merchant hydrogen (GAS-002 / GAS-009 / GAS-012 are withdrawn or internal-only). The optional inter-module bus-tie is for load-sharing across modules, not grid export. Any tenant recruitment premised on selling power or hydrogen is invalid. Likewise, the facility sells no fuels — GAS-018 RSNG is withdrawn; no methane, no SAF.

What the facility can actually offer neighbors

ResourceExportable?Basis
Fuel-cell water (WTR-FC cascade) Yes ~25 t/d net recoverable industrial-DI at 100 TPD (→500 t/d at 2,000 TPD). Combustion-free PEM byproduct. The one genuine utility export — makes the campus net-water-positive.
Industrial gases (PSA tail) Yes N2, O2, Ar, CO2 separated by the cascaded PSA train beyond internal needs. CO2 also feeds on-site mineralization (MIN-004 PCC).
Bulk materials (6 families) Yes 116 products: carbon cascade, metals/minerals, glass, aromatics. Co-location captures freshness + spec premiums.
Low-grade waste heat (steam) Limited Waste-heat steam generator tail. Thermal only — usable for drying / district heat / greenhouse, not power generation.
Electric power No Fully consumed internally. Not available under any configuration.
Hydrogen / fuels No H2 is internal energy carrier only; fuels line (RSNG) withdrawn.

Co-location ring — who to surround the facility with

Tenants are organized in three rings by what they pull from the facility. The recruitment logic is offtake adjacency and shared utilities (water, gas, heat), never power.

Ring 1 — Material off-takers (co-locate to capture freshness & spec premium)

Tenant typePulls fromWhy co-locate
Battery anode / cell precursor plant CRB cascade (CRB-008 HPG, CRB-018 spheroidized, CRB-019 hard carbon) Spheroidized graphite degrades with handling/shipping; adjacency is a real spec advantage, not just freight. IRA 45X / 30D eligibility strengthens the pairing.
Elastomers / conductive-additives compounder CRB-002 carbon black, specialty nanocarbons Continuous on-spec carbon feed; absorbs off-spec/fines streams.
Precision casting / alloy house MTL recovered metals, e-waste precious metals (Ag/Au/Pt/Pd) Short-loop refining; traceable circular-origin metal.
Construction products / filler plant (paper, paint, polymer) MIN-004 PCC, MIN-002 SCM, aggregates PCC is bulky and low-value-per-tonne — freight kills it; adjacency is essential.
Chemicals / resins partner ARM family (benzene, toluene, xylenes, phenol, styrene) BTX and downstream aromatics as drop-in petrochemical feed without a refinery.
Container / specialty / fiberglass former GLS family Cullet and specialty glass feed close to the melt.

Ring 2 — Utility-sharing tenants (water, gas, heat)

Water off-takers

Greenhouse / controlled-environment agriculture, beverage or bottling line, or a polishing loop for any chemical tenant — drawing on the 25→500 t/d FC water cascade.

Markets the campus as net-water-positive in a water-stressed jurisdiction.

Gas off-takers

Merchant industrial-gas operator or any tenant needing N2 blanketing, O2, Ar, or food/beverage-grade CO2 — supplied from the PSA tail.

Facility becomes a merchant-gas node by default.

Thermal host

Greenhouse, drying operation, or district-heat loop taking the waste-heat steam tail.

Low-grade heat only; no power generation possible from this stream.

Ring 3 — Enabling / campus-service tenants

Corpus-audited against the Engineering Doctrine §2.3 (energy converter), Session Prompt §2.2–2.3 (no fuels / all-H2-to-PEM), and the RevCon™ 2027 Process Module List (§14 PWR modules, §2 reference mass balance). Energy-export, merchant-hydrogen, and fuel-offtake pathways confirmed invalid. Production figures are steady-state design targets pending commissioning. Near-zero residual, near-zero emissions, no discharge.
